THE
FUTURE:
The
first order of the day is to construct a network for promoting diverse
collaborative communities. There
is a plethora of ideas floating around the web-sphere, which offer
alternatives to the status quo and urge one to action without
offering a cohesive game plan. V.I.P.
seeks to fill this void by offering a democratic mechanism for “the
people” to create collaborative communities of consensus, to provide a
system for promoting communities of affection, affinity, affiliation,
and alliance; to provide a social clearing house of ideas and robust
solutions. The Internet is the most democratic technology invented to date and it
is essential to the further advancement of the democratic experiment in
self-government.
The
present generation has the opportunity, indeed the responsibility, to
lay the foundation for future generations to build a more elegant system
which supports individual fulfillment and a healthier society.
